I am a Wisconsin Certified Peer Specialist and consultant with lived experience in both substance use and mental health recovery.
I was born and raised in Kenosha, Wisconsin (except for two childhood years spent in Florida). I became a mother as a teenager, which gives me a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by young mothers. I began drinking at age 12 and today, at 42, I am proud to celebrate 15 years of sobriety this April.
My lived experience is not just part of my story — it is part of my professional foundation. I share my recovery story appropriately and intentionally to provide hope, inspiration, and proof that change is possible.
My purpose in life is to help others heal, grow, and rediscover their strength.
